Soluxio solar powered decorative streetlight at USA

Decorative solar street lights near Boston, USA

Can you find the solar panel on this Soluxio lamp post?

By adding decorative cladding, a traditional light fixture and fully black solar panels, these Soluxio light poles get a completely different look. The Soluxio solar decorative street lights are perfect for the Town of Topsfield, a suburb of Boston. Since the beginning of 2021, 20 Soluxio decorative lamp posts are bringing fully solar-powered light to the streets of this town.

As shown in the pictures, the cylindrical solar panels are fully black. As a result, the solar panel is barely visible. Additionally, the aluminum columns have a glossy black finish. And by adding a traditional flower basket and light fixture, these Soluxio solar decorative street lights do not have the modern look you would expect with solar power.

In this case, the classical light fixture from Spring City Electrical Mfg. Co. was sourced locally and supplied by the client in the United States. Because the Soluxio is completely light fixture independent, most luminaires are compatible with the Soluxio system. In this situation FlexSol informed the light fixture manufacturer to slightly adjust the electronics of the LED lights. As a result, the light fixture works perfectly with the Soluxio solar system.

Furthermore, depending on your location and the soil type, the Soluxio can be installed in different ways. In Topsfield direct burial poles were used.

By using direct burial poles the traditional cladding was easily attached to the bottom part of the pole. Whereas by using anchor-based poles, a base plate is welded to the bottom part of the pole to provide provisions for anchoring bolts. Direct burial poles do not have this base plate at the bottom, which makes them perfect for easily adding any sort of cladding.

The Soluxio street lights in Topsfield are a wonderful example of how different the Soluxio solar pole can look. However this is just one example. Don’t hesitate to let us know how you would like your Soluxio solar pole to look.
